Department of Energy says Rocky Flats Protections are Working Fine
The Associated Press and Denver Post reported
that the federal government’s latest five-year review of ongoing environmental remediation at the former Rocky Flats plant site shows that the area
continues to be “protective of human health and the environment.”
The land surrounding the cleaned-up plant site became the Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge in 2007.
